TAMIU Offers Test Prep Courses for GRE and SAT January

Students preparing for a graduate school or a college entrance exam can take advantage of two test review courses that will be offered at Texas A&M International University in January.

The Office of Special programs will offer prep courses for GRE and SAT tests and students can register through Jan. 5, 2004 for these courses.

The GRE Preparation Course will be offered starting Jan. 10 for eight consecutive Saturdays, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Students are required to take pre and post diagnostic tests. Tuition is $320 and includes two textbooks, a CD-Rom as well as pre and post test assessments.

The SAT Preparation Course will start January 10 and will be offered for 11 consecutive Saturdays, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Tuition is $250, which includes a pre-test, post-test books and lunch.

University offices will reopen for Spring 2004 Registration at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5. Registration may be accomplished throughout these days and prior to General Registration on Friday, Jan. 16. Classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 20. Registration information is available by calling the Office of the Registrar at 326.2250.
