Now in its 18th year, TexPREP is a free eight-week summer program that provides high-ability middle and high school students with exposure to University-level mathematics, engineering, science and technology.

Students currently attending 6th - 10th grade in Jim Hogg, Webb, and Zapata counties are invited to apply for admission to the free program. TexPREP is open to both male and female applicants of any race or national origin.

Applications are available from the TAMIU Office of Special Programs, located in the Student Center Room 118. First year applications have been mailed to middle and high school counselors and math and science teachers. First, second, third and fourth year applications are also available online at www.tamiu.edu/contedu/
