Recently, graduates from Texas A&M International University's Dr. F.M. Canseco School of Nursing celebrated the graduate nurses' life-long commitment to the profession and the people they will serve with a pinning ceremony.

Dr. Susan Baker, director of the Canseco School of nursing and master of ceremonies, explained the updated pledge was created by Marion G. Howell, R.N. dean emeritus of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
