TAMIU'S Rainbow Unity Conference Features Comedian/Actor

Texas A&M International University's Rainbow Unity Conference, Tuesday, March 29, will feature "out" comedian Jason Stuart from 2-3 p.m. in Student Center Ballroom 203.

Admission to this event, sponsored by the TAMIU Gay Straight Alliance, a sanctioned student organization, is free and open to the public.

Stuart is one of the most successful openly gay male comics to perform on college campuses. He has performed throughout the United States from the smallest towns to major cities. Stuart has also been invited to multiple National Associations of Campus Activities (NACA) Conventions.

His work has grown beyond campuses as he has become a popular lecturer at Fortune 500 companies such as Motorola and ATT and also The Human Rights Campaign.

In addition to stand-up comedy, Stuart has made his mark as a talented character actor. He is best known for his recurring role as a gay therapist on the sitcom "My Wife & Kids." Stuart has also guest starred on the Emmy-winning "Will & Grace," "The Drew Carey Show," and "Murder, She Wrote."

Stuart's film career has proved successful in movies such as "A Day Without A Mexican," "Lost and Found," "Vegas Vacation," and HBO's "Gia."

He is now touring with his live show "The Looking For Mr. Right Comedy Tour" all over the United States.
