Housing Reservations Urged at TAMIU for Fall

Housing requests at Texas A&M International University are on the rise and University officials are urging students to reserve their rooms for this Fall in order to insure accommodation.

Two housing facilities are now available, University Village on the campus' west side, and the new Residential Learning Community on the east side of the campus. Combined, both facilities have the capability of housing 650 residents.

Both are gated facilities and offer on-site management and resident assistants and varying amenities including swimming pools, cable TV, high-speed Internet, social lounges and laundry facilities.

Individual contracts are available for all housing.

University Village offers fully and unfurnished apartment homes, community center with widescreen TV, swimming pool, a spa, laundry facility and free basic cable and Internet. Floor plans range from one bedroom to four bedrooms.

The Residential Learning Community offers all private bedrooms, a lounge with plasma TV, lighted basketball court, two sand volleyball courts and a swimming pool with sun deck.
