Teacher Certification Exam Registration Deadline Friday
Registration is underway for the TexES or ExCET test on Oct. 1. All registration forms must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 or late fees will be applied. Those registering via e-mail must complete the registration process online before 5 p.m., Aug. 26.
Texas Administrative Code requires every person seeking educator certification to perform satisfactorily on comprehensive examinations. The purpose of these examinations is to ensure that each educator has the prerequisite content and professional knowledge necessary for an entry-level position in Texas public schools.
Late fees will apply to anyone who registers after Aug. 26.
