Texas A&M International University’s College of Education School Counseling Program will begin offering Free Monday Counseling Nights. The sessions are open to children ages seven to 18 having problems with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, or problems with confidence and achievement.

There is no charge for services, but sessions are limited to 30 participants.

Counseling will be supervised by TAMIU’s Dr. Neil Duchac, clinical coordinator, and conducted by TAMIU graduate students enrolled in a practicum course.

Sessions begin Monday, Oct. 31 and will be held every Monday through Dec. 12.

For mandatory initial assessment, call 326.2333. Although there is no charge for services rendered, parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from TAMIU.
