TAMIU Transfer Fair at LCC Nov. 15 - 17

Students interested in transferring to Texas A&M International University should make plans to attend the TAMIU Transfer Fair at Laredo Community College, Tuesday, Nov. 15 through Thursday, Nov. 17.

Advisors for each of the colleges and Dr. F.M. Canseco School of Nursing will be available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the University Outreach Office in LCC's Memorial Hall 211.

The fair is held twice a year - once in the Fall and again in the Spring.

"Students who are ready to take their upper-level courses should attend the transfer fair. The purpose of the Fair is to provide a smooth transition for the students when enrolling," said Odilia Cantú, student transfer specialist.

Representatives from the College of Business Administration and Dr. F.M. Canseco School of Nursing will be on site Tuesday, Nov. 15. Advisors from the College of Education will be available Wednesday, Nov. 16. Advisors from the College of Arts and Sciences will be at LCC Thursday, Nov. 17.

"Students can get advised on their degree program, meet with faculty, learn about financial aid, receive testing information, and register for Spring 2006," added Cantú.
