Take an opportunity to hear music written by budding composers at Texas A&M International University's Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall, Friday, March 10 at 5:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.

"The TAMIU Student Composition Recital features short musical compositions by several of our own TAMIU music majors," explained Dr. Friedrich Gechter, associate professor of music and piano.

The music will be performed by currently enrolled music majors, whose compositions include piano solos, guitar trios, wind quartets and several other types of instrumental ensembles. Dr. Gechter will also perform.
