The Texas A&M International University Chorale and Crabtree Voice Studio present their Spring Concert on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the TAMIU Student Center Auditorium, room 236.

Admission is free and open to the public.

"The first half of the program features the TAMIU Chorale, singing sacred selections by Palestrina and Mozart as well as African-American spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan, Robert DeCormier, Alice Parker, and Robert Shaw. The second half of the evening will shift gears and feature arias and art songs performed by TAMIU applied voice students, most of who also make up the TAMIU Chorale," explained Dana Crabtree, Chorale director and instructor or voice/choirs.

"Departing from the usual 'stand-and-sing' delivery style of solo vocal recitals, the selections on the second half of the program will be staged. Rebeca Anderson and Hortensia Suarez will provide the piano accompaniment," added Crabtree.
