International Business Certification Program Registration Underway at TAMIU
Businesses interested in learning to develop a well-rounded growth strategy in international commerce should make plans to attend a series of training seminars offered by Texas A&M International University and the South Texas Border International Trade Center at the University of Texas at San Antonio. The Certified Global Business Professional training series began April 27 and continues weekly through June.
Participants may register for individual classes or for the entire series. Registration fees per session are $175 (with a discount); $200 for early registration and $225 for late registration.
The training schedule for the series is:
Thursday, May 4 - International trade logistics
Thursday, May 11 - Global management
Thursday, May 18 - Trade finance and payment methods
The training series will close with a North American Small Business International Trade Educators Certified Business Professional Exam Review in Laredo on June 8 and the NASBITE CGBP Exam, also in Laredo on June 17.
The series is designed to help businesses develop a well-rounded growth strategy in international commerce.
The training program was developed by the International Trade Center at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and is one of only two programs in the United States aimed at business executives and provided in an accelerated format. Each session is led by experienced professionals in international trade.
