First-Ever Juried Student Art Exhibit at TAMIU, Thursday, April 27

Don’t miss the first-ever juried art exhibit and reception, “Paradoxes Revealed,” at Texas A&M International University’s Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Gallery, tonight from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.

Refreshments will be served.

All art students were eligible to submit artwork in any media such as ceramics, photography, film and video, painting, digital media, drawings, printmaking, and mixed media. The first place winner will receive $100. Second and third place prizes will also be announced as well as the names of the successful art scholarship applicants.

Donna Lednicky, executive director for the Laredo Center for the Arts is set to judge the artwork.

The exhibit is sponsored and organized by art.ink, the TAMIU art club.
