A chance for young women to learn about the world of business and entrepreneurship will be the focus of a two-day workshop May 31-June 1 offered by Texas A&M International University's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team.

Dubbed "Vision to Reality," the free workshop will take place Wednesday, May 31 in Student Center Room 230 and Thursday, June 1 in Student Center 231.  The workshop will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Breaskfast and lunch will be provided. Space is limited to the first 30 females.

Registration information is available from SIFE member Jerry Guerra at 956.326.2847.

Workshop participants will learn about financial management and entrepreneurial practices that will help them to succeed. Local entrepreneurs will share their journeys to business success.

With help from University professors, local business leaders, and The Laredo Small Business Development Center, the Workshop will provide participants with relevant information to help them realize their own entrepreneurial dreams.

"Vision to Reality" is a SIFE community outreach project that follows the success of last year's offering, "Women in Action."

SIFE is an international non-profit organization active on university campuses in more than 40 countries.
