Scholarship opportunities are still available for the 2006 – 2007 school year at Texas A&M International University. Among the opportunities is the ¡Adenlante! U.S. Education Leadership Fund.

The ¡Adenlante! U.S. Education Leadership Fund offers the best and brightest Latino students scholarships, internships and leadership training to help them graduate and lead.

According to their Web site, 100 percent of the students who have participated in the scholarship program have either earned a Bachelor’s degree or are actively pursuing a degree.

Three TAMIU students who have benefited from ¡Adenlante! recently returned from the 8th Annual Leadership Institute (2006LI). Juan G. García, San Juanita R. Zavala and Nilda M. García met with almost 100 other students from around the country at 2006LI. They received instruction and insight that will help them further their academic and professional careers. (photo)

The ¡Adelante! Fund’s goal is to support the success of tomorrow’s leaders through investment in their academic potential.  These efforts fuel ¡Adelante! scholars' determination and pave the future for their academic and professional achievement.
