University Announces Graduation, Holiday Schedule

Texas A&M International University Fall 2006 Commencement Exercises are scheduled on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. outdoors on the University plaza.

The University is expecting it largest graduating class to date, with over 500 undergraduate or graduate candidates for graduation.      

In order to accommodate the traffic, additional University police will be on hand to direct traffic. In addition, at the close of graduation, the University's four lane entrance will be converted to exit-only to help expedite exit.

Although the semester ends with graduation, administrative offices will remain open until noon on Friday, Dec. 22.  Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007

Despite office closures, registration for the Spring Semester 2007 is underway 24/7at UOnline, located at schedule.tamiu.edu

Spring 2007 classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 16.

University office hours are from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
