Late registration, with fees applied, for intensive English as a second language (ESL) courses offered by Texas A&M International University’s International Language Institute is underway through March 23.

Classes begin Monday, March 19.

Late fee is $15.

This intensive course is designed for non-native English speakers who seek to advance professionally or academically or just want to improve their English skills. The full level course consists of listening, speaking, grammar, reading and writing (l/s/g and r/w), and costs $1,098. Students have the option of dividing the complete level into two half levels by taking either the l/s/g component or the r/w and then the l/s/g or r/w component. Each half level costs $568.

The small classes allow students to get personal attention during the eight-week immersion class.

All ESL students will be required to take a placement exam. The test includes listening, speaking, writing and multiple-choice questions. Fee for the placement test is $25.

Please visit the ILI on the Web at tamiu.edu/dip/ili/index.shtml for more details.
