TAMIU Art Seniors Exhibit Their Work

Appreciate work done by local student artists at "Far From Truth: Texas A&M International University Graduating Senior Art Majors" exhibit and reception, Thursday, April 12 at the TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Gallery.

The reception is from 5 - 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibit will be on display though Thursday, April 26. Gallery hours are 12 - 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

"Many of the artworks deal with provocative, challenging topics and concepts. Works at this exhibition include paintings, ceramics, installations, photography, sculpture and mixed media," explained Alma Haertlein, TAMIU assistant professor of art.

Some work may not be suitable for children, she added.
