Students who want to get ahead and earn more college credit during the break between the Spring and Summer semesters can take courses at Texas A&M International University during ‘Maymester 2007.’

Last day to register is Friday, May 11. Tuition and fees are due Friday, May 11. Classes start Monday, May 14 and the last class day is Friday, June 1.

Maymester is a three-week long session between the Spring semester and Summer Session I. Students attend class Monday through Friday, three hours a day for 15 days, and can only enroll in one Maymester course.

Students who have been admitted to TAMIU are eligible to enroll.

There are a limited number of courses offered for both undergraduates and graduates. Courses are listed in the Summer Session 2007 online schedule.

Benefits of taking classes during Maymester include convenience of time and earlier graduation.

Financial aid and emergency loans are available for students who want to register, but students should apply early as funds are limited. Given time constraints, the installment plan for payments is not available.

Tuition is based on Summer Session tuition rates.
