TAMIU Sets Summer Schedule Hours

Texas A&M International University will begin to observe a summer schedule effective Thursday, May 31.

The summer office and service schedule will be from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Fridays.

The summer schedule will be in operation through Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007.

Operating hours at the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will remain the same:  Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The University’s Kinesiology and Convocation Building will remain open for students and approved users from 8 a.m – 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 3 – 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The TAMIU Student Center will be open from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday –Thursday and from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Fridays.  The Student Center will close Saturday and Sunday. Previously scheduled events will be honored.

The Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium will observe its regular schedule Friday, May 25 and Friday, June 1 with shows at 6 and 7 p.m.

On Saturday, May 26 and Saturday, June 2, shows will be offered at 5, 6 and 7 p.m.  Beginning June 6 and continuing through Aug. 4, the Planetarium will offer shows on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4 and 5 p.m.  It will close on Fridays and present shows on Saturdays at 5, 6 and 7 p.m.

The TAMIU Small Business Development Center will continue to observe its regular schedule from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

This trial TAMIU summer schedule will be studied for possible continued implementation
each summer.
