Fall 2007 Registration Underway at TAMIU

Registration for Fall 2007 at Texas A&M International University is currently underway at uonline.tamiu.edu

Classes start Monday, Aug. 27.

All tuition and fees are due Friday, Aug. 24.

Students can start the admissions process and the financial aid application at the same time.

Students are strongly encouraged to apply for financial aid before August so their financial aid package includes a combination of grants—free government money—as well as loans, which students must pay back after graduation.

For first year students, TAMIU offers its yearly Welcome Week to help them ease into the transition to University life.

Welcome Week begins Wednesday, Aug. 22 with the Transfer Students Orientation.

The International Students Orientation and Freshmen Orientation and Convocation are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23.

The Freshmen Convocation continues through Friday, Aug. 24. A faculty and staff assembly is also scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24.
