International Chamber Music Festival at TAMIU Sept. 7

Delight in an evening of chamber music at the International Chamber Music Festival at Texas A&M International University Friday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall.

This concert is free and open to the public.

The Festival includes music performed by TAMIU professors and guest musicians.

Featured performers for the evening are: Dr. Susan Berdahl, associate professor of music and flute, on flute; Dr. Luís Casal on violin; Bobby Compton, Vidal M. Trevino School of Communications and Fine Arts teacher, on violin; Dana Crabtree, instructor of music and voice, soprano; Dr. Friedrich Gechter, associate professor of music and piano, on piano; Dr. Yu-Mei Huang, assistant professor of music and strings on violin; Suzanne Ramo, instructor of applied voice at LCC, soprano; Dr. Gilberto Soto, associate professor of music and guitar on guitar; Brendan Townsend, assistant professor of music, on cello; and Dr. Xiaohu Zhou, adjunct instructor of music/bassoon, oboe and clarinet, on bassoon.
