Getting your degree plan evaluated has never been so easy.  Texas A&M International University’s Uonline, the University’s online student information system, now has a new feature that tracks your progress toward your degree.

The process is easy and convenient by following the simple steps:

  1. Log on to Uonline at http://uonline.tamiu.edu and click on “Enter Secure Area.”
  2. Enter your User ID and your date of birth in a six-digit format as your PIN.
  3. Click on “Student Services & Financial Aid”
  4. Click on “Student Records”
  5. Click on “Degree Evaluation”
  6. Select the current term from the pull down menu and click “Submit.”
  7. Click on “Generate New Evaluation”
  8. Select a program, degree, major and anticipated graduation term then select “Generate Request.”
  9. Select the desired display, General Requirements or Detail Requirements and then click “Submit.”

The evaluation also works on “what-if” scenarios, for instance if your major is “Undeclared” or if you’ve made any changes to your major.

The evaluation can also be a big help when scheduling and making decisions with your academic advisors. The degree evaluation uses the courses that you have already taken, while using current and future registrations to suit the requirements.

The degree evaluation plan is just one of the many helpful resources the Uonline provides.

“Students, faculty and advisors will benefit greatly from this new feature, Oscar Reyna, TAMIU Registrar.

Through Uonline, a new student can apply for admission and then register. Students can register, keep track of their holds, grades, view their transcripts, account summaries and update their personal information.
