Alumni Association’s AutMus Fest Rocks TAMIU Oct. 6

 On Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 Texas A&M International University’s campus  will be home to everything  from A Flock of Seagulls to some impressive LA Guns.

The Ford Texas A&M International University Autumn Music Festival (AutMus Fest) will be presented by the University’s Alumni Association.

It’ll  feature an impressive lineup that’s bound to appeal to music fans of all ages and tastes. This is the third offering of the Festival, which bills itself  as “Laredo’s Most Eclectic Outdoor Music Festival.”

Gates open at 2 p.m. and music begins at 2:30 p.m. The fun continues till 11:30 p.m. Food booths and refreshments will be available for sale and games will provide children playful exercise.

Pre-sale tickets are available at all Pocket Communications stores for $10.  Tickets will be $20 at the gate Saturday. Proceeds will benefit TAMIU student scholarships.

7:15PM - DEAN SELTZER – Country Rock
8:00PM - DJ FLACO - Dance
8:30PM - LA GUNS  with Tracii Gunn – Rock
9:30PM - POCOS PERO LOCOS - Rap
10:00PM - A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS – 80s Rock
11:00PM - POCOS PERO LOCOS – Rap
11:30PM - LOS PALOMINOS - Tejano

AutMus Fest is sponsored by Ford, Miller Lite, Pocket Communications, Time Warner Cable, IBC Bank, Allstate Marcus Moreno Agency and Collision Center.
