Halloween Night Show at LBV Planetarium

Escape the tricks and the treats for the other side of the moon or Pink’s wall at the Texas A&M International University Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium Wednesday, Oct. 31 special showings of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall.”

“Dark Side of the Moon” is scheduled for 7 p.m. while “The Wall” will run at 8 p.m.

General admission is $6 for adults and $5 for TAMIU students, alumni and staff.

“Dark Side of the Moon” is a full-color animation feature with stunning visuals. The show is based on Pink Floyd’s concept album “The Dark Side of the Moon,” one of rock music’s greatest albums of all time. The album is listed in the “Guinness Book of World Records” for being on the charts longer than any other album in history.

Since its release in 1979, Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” is considered one of the most intriguing and imaginative albums in the history of rock music. The legendary rock ‘n’ roll concept album is recreated in full-color animation with music, lasers and special effects for an unforgettable high-definition, surround-sound digital audio and full-dome video experience.

Music featured includes: “In the Flesh,” “Goodbye Blue Sky,” “Comfortably Numb” and “Another Brick in the Wall.”
