KLRN Women’s Health Conference at TAMIU Saturday

Tickets are still available for KLRN Public Television’s 4th Annual Laredo Women’s Health Conference this Saturday, Jan. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Texas A&M International University's Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade.

KLRN, in partnership with TAMIU, encourages women of the community to attend the Conference featuring information about current health issues.

Conference admission tickets are $30 and include a full day of informative speakers, breakout sessions, health screenings, continental breakfast, formal luncheon and a commemorative tote bag.

Conference co-chairs are Judy Martínez and Sandra Hernández.

The event keynote speaker, María Marín is an author, a national newspaper columnist, radio talk show host and international motivational speaker.

Marín is considered one of the leading motivational trainers in “Personal Empowerment” and “The Art of Negotiation.”  Her engaging presentations and undeniable message have earned the worldwide acclaimed speaker many honors.

Tickets can be purchased at all Laredo IBC Bank locations, Doctors Hospital of Laredo and at TAMIU's Dr. F.M. Canseco School of Nursing.
