TAMIU-SBDC, SBA to Discuss Franchises, Loans Available

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) and the San Antonio District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be conducting “The Dynamics of Franchising” Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008.

The free-of-charge event will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Texas A&M International University-Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 116, 5201 University Boulevard.   All are welcome to attend this informative event.  

Entrepreneur Authority Representative Mark Tapp will discuss what franchising is, help clarify entrepreneurial goals and determine if franchising is an appropriate next business venture for Workshop participants.  

The SBA will also discuss available government-backed loans to assist in funding a new franchise.
