TAMIU SBDC Sets Seminar on Motivating Employees, Feb. 28

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) will provide a targeted Seminar for business owners and managers on how to motivate employees on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at TAMIU’s Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 103. 

Registration fee is $30. Those registering prior to Monday, Feb. 25 receive a $5 discount.

The seminar will be lead by Cynthia Ruiz from At Work Personnel and will include the following: how to motivate individuals, teams at work, and organizations.

Ruiz maintains that organizations need employees that are highly motivated and energized. Employee empowerment programs and self-directed work teams are concepts that seek to motivate and energize employees to make them powerful elements to their organizations.
