TAMIU Sets Spring Break Schedule

Texas A&M International University students join students nationwide in the annual observance of Spring Break starting Monday, March 17 through Friday, March 21. Classes will be suspended March 17-21, but University offices will remain open through 5 p.m., March 19. Offices will be closed March 20-21.

Classes will resume and offices reopen on Monday, March 24.

TAMIU’s Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will be closed Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16. Monday, March 17 thru Thursday, March 20 the Library will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Friday, March 21, the Killam Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will close Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 for Spring Break and Easter. Monday, March 24 the Library will resume regular schedule.

TAMIU’s Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium will be open during Spring Break on March 18 and 19 only with the premiere of the new show, “The Zula Patrol: Under the Weather.”

Show times include Tuesday, March 18, “Extreme Planets” at 2 p.m., “The Zula Patrol: Under the Weather” at 3:15 p.m. and a special Spanish version, “La Patrulla de Zula” at 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 19, “The Future is Wild” at 2 p.m. and two showings of “The Zula Patrol: Under the Weather” at 3:15 and 4:30 p.m.

The Planetarium will be closed the weekend of Spring Break (March 22-23) and resume regular hours on March 28.
