TAMIU’s Aros Credentialed Nationally

Dr. Jesus Aros, Texas A&M International University director of Student Counseling Services, has been nationally recognized as a health service provider in psychology by the National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology.

Dr. Aros received his credentials last month.

The National Register reviews the education and training of psychologists to identify those that meet its national standards as health service providers. More than 12,000 psychologists nationwide are currently recognized with an online searchable database located at nationalregister.org

The National Register’s credentialing identifies psychologists with education and training in direct, preventive, assessment and therapeutic services. Criteria used by the National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology has been adopted by numerous state licensing boards, government agencies, private insurers and managed care organizations across the US.
