The Imaginarium of South Texas will be home Monday, May 5 from 5-7 p.m. to some older students…in particular University students presenting a variety of interactive exhibits as part of their final for a Texas A&M International University course.

The 18 participating students are enrolled in Dr. Carlene Henderson’s Expressive Arts Class and will be providing the Imaginarium’s young visitors with a dizzying array of games, experiments and interactive exhibits.

There is no charge to be part of the TAMIU event offering, but space is limited. Additional information is available by calling 728.0404.

The TAMIU course focuses on providing students with an opportunity to teach skills and content while the venue provides a real-world experience with young children that the games and exhibits target.

This is the first time the TAMIU College of Education course final is offered at the Imaginarium.

For additional information, contact TAMIU’s Dr. Henderson, assistant professor, at 326.3156 or e-mail chenderson@tamiu.edu
