What’s next? This Fall, it’s Texas A&M International University. Registration for Fall 2008 classes is now underway.

Fall 2008 classes begin Monday, Aug. 25.

Students can select from 78 undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree programs at one of Texas’ fastest-growing regional universities. Last Spring, TAMIU saw the highest enrollment growth of any Texas A&M University System campus, enrolling 5,023 students.

Classes are offered by a gifted faculty from all over the country and world with an average class size of 23. The University also draws students from 30 different countries and has Study Abroad Programs in the Americas, Asia, Australia, Africa and Western Europe. Female students outnumber men, 63% to 37%. Full-time students comprise 53% of enrollment while 47% are part-time.

An aggressive financial aid program helps qualified students secure aid or scholarships. On-campus housing can reduce gas and travel expenses while students live and learn in a safe and secure environment with impressive amenities. The Laredo El Metro bus system includes regular stops at TAMIU.

The University’s new $12.5 million Kinesiology, Wellness and Recreation Center helps students keep their bodies fit and the University’s NCAA II Dustdevil Athletics Program offers 11 sports, including the recent addition of baseball/softball.

TAMIU is game home for the Laredo Heat Soccer team, just part of a robust campus life that also includes 40-plus different student clubs, regular concerts, performances and art exhibitions, as well as season performances by the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Also rounding out campus life at TAMIU this Fall will be an on-campus Starbucks Coffee Shop.
