‘AutMus Fest’ Rocks TAMIU Saturday

This weekend, Texas A&M International University will rock and roll with the presentation of the 4th Annual Ford AutMus Fest music festival on campus Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight.

Hosted by the University’s Alumni Association, the family-friendly outdoor festival has fast become a South Texas tradition, attracting over 10,000 attendees.

In addition to musical performances, visitors will find games and activities for children and teens as well as food and arts and crafts booths and the famed “Brontosaurus” Rib Cooking Contest.

Artists scheduled to perform and approximate performance times are:

3 p.m. – Rock with Ali Cat
4 p.m. – Fusion with Superphat
5 p.m. – Rock with Warryor
6 p.m. – Rock with Krystal Blue Affliction
7 p.m. – Country with JR Castillo
8 p.m. – Eclectic with Nothing More
9 p.m. – Pop with Kristen Mari
9:30 p.m. – Tejano with Little Joe
10:30 p.m. – Classic rock with Night Ranger
11:30 p.m. – Comedy with Chinaman
12 a.m. – Latin rock with Kinky.

Artists and performance times are subject to change, any changes to schedule will be posted to autmusfest.com

Tickets are $10 pre sale and $20 at the door. Children under age 12 are admitted free. Proceeds benefit the TAMIU Alumni Association’s Scholarship Fund for deserving students.
