Two Fall Commencement Exercises for Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will be held outdoors Saturday.

With 617 candidates for graduation, one of the largest graduating classes in TAMIU’s history, the ceremony will be divided—one ceremony at 10 a.m. for students graduating from the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education, and another at 3 p.m. for the A. R. Sanchez School of Business and College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

A full listing of the candidates for graduation for both exercises is available in the official program, located at tamiu.edu/commencement

Both take place outdoors on the University green. In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies will move into the Kinesiology and Convocation Building.

The morning Exercise will feature a Commencement Address by Congressman Chet Edwards (D)-17th District.

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Ricardo S. Sanchez, who commanded group troops in Iraq from 2003-2004, will provide the Commencement Address for the afternoon ceremony.
