Bereavement Therapy Available Via TAMIU Stress Center

Families who have suffered the loss of a baby, child or adolescent 17 years of age or younger can now avail themselves of a specialized bereavement therapy program free of charge.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Laredo and Webb County have allocated a small grant to the Texas A&M International University Stress Center to provide the therapy.

The therapy will be conducted by advanced TAMIU Masters in Counseling Psychology (MACP) graduate students supervised by Dr. Bonnie Rudolph, TAMIU professor and director of the University’s MACP Program.

The treatment provided will consist of family, individual, couples, child, and group therapy, depending on client necessity. The services are free of charge. Availability of services will consist of day and evening hours Monday-Friday. For more information, please contact Sylvia Bruni, Children’s Advocacy Center of Laredo, at 111 N.
