Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) spirit will come alive at the Laredo Entertainment Center as the University family celebrates TAMIU Day during a game between the Laredo Bucks and the Corpus Christi Rayz Sunday, March 8 at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for TAMIU alumni, students, faculty and staff with presentation of TAMIU ID at the LEC Box Office. Regular ticket prices apply for the general public.

Mika Akikuni, TAMIU associate director of marketing, said the University and TAMIU Alumni Association are proud to co-host TAMIU Night with the Laredo Bucks as it celebrates community partnership and unites the University’s growing alumni family during a fun event open to people of all ages.

“This is an annual opportunity for TAMIU to connect with our University alumni family as well as children, teens and adults of our community who are considering attending Laredo’s only four-year University,” Akikuni said, “ It’s a celebration of the shared values of higher education and the possibilities that a four-year University makes real. In these economically troubled times, the best news is TAMIU is right here at home.”

The event will be fun with games and prizes and is also a chance for the University to encourage everyone to start thinking about Summer and Fall classes at TAMIU.

Summer I classes at TAMIU begin June 1.
