Personal Finance Management Course Set Friday, Saturday at TAMIU

Learn the basics of investing with a non-credit certificate course, “Personal Finance Management,” at Texas A&M International University’s Western Hemispheric Trade Center 104 on Friday, April 24 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Course fee is $250 and $200 for TAMIU employees, students and alumni.

The course, offered by the University’s A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business Division of International Business, will be taught by Dr. Andres Rivas, TAMIU assistant professor of finance and economics. Main topics covered in this course include basics of investing, getting started in investing, types of investing, basic investment concepts and strategies and investment tips.
