Annual ‘Primavera Mexicana’ Takes to Stage Friday

Go on a journey into México at upcoming Primavera Mexicana at Texas A&M International University on Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Recital Hall.

Admission is $5 and free for children 10 and younger.

The TAMIU Ballet Folklórico and TAMIU Ballet Folklórico Juvenil will perform traditional dances from Baja California, Chihuahua, Zacatecas and Veracruz.

The dances and costumes vary from state to state and region to region and have numerous influences including history and culture.
