Non-Profit Planning Workshop at TAMIU Feb. 18

Learn the basics to help your non-profit organization succeed at the upcoming “Strategic Planning Workshop” offered by the Texas A&M International University Bi-National Center for Leadership, Research, and Education in Public Service Program for Non-Profit Excellence Thursday, Feb. 18 from 8:30 – 11:45 p.m. in Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 126.

Registration is $35. A continental breakfast will be provided.

Edward Sherwood, human resources director, Falcon International Bank, will present the workshop.

Sherwood will cover: importance of a mission; how to create your mission; know your vision, mission and values; how a strategic plan can help your organization success; how to build your strategic plan; develop your strategy; implement acquired strategies.

Also underway is registration for the Non-Profit Leadership and Management Certificate, level one and level two. Registration is $400 for the entire program or $50 for individual workshops.
