Public Forum Comment Accompanies TAMIU Nursing Review March 2

Officials with Texas A&M International University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Dr. F. M. Canseco School of Nursing are encouraging participation in a Public Comment Forum that accompanies the School’s upcoming accreditation review visit.

The Forum will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 5 p.m at the TAMIU Student Center, room 202.

Dr. Regina Aune, dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, said the opportunity is part of the review by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc. (NLNAC).

“This provides the public with a chance to comment on our programs being reviewed. The site visit by NLNAC is reviewing our continuing accreditation of our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and the initial accreditation of the Master of Science in Nursing Program, “ Dr. Aune explained.
