11 TAMIU Student-Athletes Earn Degrees in Spring Ceremonies

A total of 11 student-athletes were candidates for graduation at Texas A&M International University’s Spring 2010 Commencement Exercises.

The College of Education and the A.R. Sánchez, Jr. School of Business Commencement Exercises were held Friday night, May 14 and the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Nursing and Health Sciences took place Saturday morning , May 15.

The following is a list of student-athlete candidates (with degree):

Men's Soccer
Abdiel Amador, B.B.A. in Accounting; Jonathan Becerra, B.S. in Communication Disorders and Luís Rincon Ovalle, M.B.A. in Business Administration.

Baseball
John Gonzáles, B.B.A. in Business Administration and Enrique Granados, B.S. in Criminal Justice.

Women's Basketball
Mónica Gutiérrez, B.S. in Criminal Justice.

Women's Golf
Ashley Hill, B.A. in Psychology

Men's Basketball
Christopher Swan, M.B.A. in Business Administration

Women's Cross Country
Cristina Martínez, B.B.A. in Business Administration and Jennifer Méndez, B.S. in Biology.

Volleyball
Clovershea McGill, B.S. in Fitness and Sports.
