TAMIU Offers THEA Prep Workshops

Boost your (Texas Higher Education Assessment) THEA score with help from the Texas A&M International University THEA Prep Workshops offered by the University College June 1- 4.

Registration fee is $40 for the general public and free for TAMIU students. Seating is limited. Register at Dr. Billy F. Cowart Hall (BCH), room 204 and 205.

The Workshops will offer instruction in math, reading and writing.

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, June 1- Friday, June 4 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.: math—fundamentals of math, algebra, geometry and problem solving.

Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2 from 1 – 5 p.m.: reading—inference, generalization and main idea.

Thursday, June 3 and Friday, June 4 from 9 .m. – 1 p.m.: writing—essay tips and grammar tricks.
