For that person who has everything, consider giving him or her art or investing in art for yourself. Or why not enjoy the opportunity to appreciate art created by Texas A&M International University art students at the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Gallery Juried Student Art exhibit.

The exhibit kicks off with a reception Thursday, Dec. 2 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. in the Gallery lobby.

Admission is free and open to the public thanks to TAMIU Housing and Residence Life, a major sponsor for the show.

Refreshments will be served.

Student artwork will include drawings, prints, illustrations, ceramics, sculptures, photographs and paintings from all art classes.

Twenty percent of all sales go to Visual Arts scholarships.

The exhibit will be on display through Thursday, Dec. 9.

Gallery hours are noon – 5 p.m., Monday – Thursday or by appointment.
