‘Las Posadas’ at TAMIU Dec. 3-4

Returning to Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is a local favorite, the 14th annual TAMIU Ballet Folklórico’s Las Posadas Concert. The two-night event is scheduled Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4 from 7 – 10 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Theatre.

General admission is $5 and free for children ages 10 and younger.

Las Posadas features the TAMIU Ballet Folklórico and the TAMIU Ballet Folklórico Juvenil performing dances from different regions in México.

TAMIU Ballet Folklórico began Las Posadas as a way to preserve the traditional Mexican posada and regional Mexican dances.
