TAMIU, Philharmonic Chorale, UHS Longhorn Choir in Concert at TAMIU Friday

Listen to some of the best voices in town at the 2011 Spring Concert at the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Recital Hall, Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Performing at the Concert that evening are the TAMIU Chorale, the Laredo Philharmonic Chorale and the United High School Longhorn Choir.

Director Paul M. Foster provided program highlights.

“The concert will include ‘Gloria,’ a classic piece by John Rutter; ‘Abendlied,’ a beautiful German piece sung a cappella; the up tempo spiritual ‘Wade in de Water’ and a medley from season one of the hit TV show ‘Glee,’ ” he said.
