TAMIU Celebrates Employees with Enrichment Day May 20

Texas A&M International University employees will spend the day at the University’s annual TAMIU Enrichment Day Friday, May 20, starting at 7:45 a.m.

While University offices will remain open, staff and services will be greatly reduced.

Employees will hear a keynote speaker in the morning and attend informative sessions throughout the afternoon. Special recognition Awards including the Employee Service Awards, Outstanding Employee Awards, State Employee Charitable Contribution Awards and All 4 TAMIU Awards will also be presented.

Keynote speaker will be Dr. John Daly, Liddell Professor of Communication, TCB Professor of Management and Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Daly’s presentation will focus on enhancing customer focus.

All TAMIU full-time employees will attend smaller afternoon presentations covering topics ranging from healthy lifestyle habits and plans for Student Orientation to fireproofing personal finances and taking control of one’s online identity.

The annual event is coordinated by the University’s Office of Human Resources.
