As the country readies to observe the 10th Anniversary of 9.11, the Texas A&M International University campus paused to remember the nation’s loss on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Student Center Rotunda.

Members of the University community: students, faculty, staff and alumni, joined for a brief program.

Student Government president Triana Gonzalez welcomed all and provided the Pledge of Allegiance. The National Anthem and a 9.11 timeline followed, along with remarks of remembrance by Juan Castillo, TAMIU vice president for Finance and Administration.

A moment of silence followed and the event concluded with “Amazing Grace.”
