TAMIU Offices Close Thursday, Reopen Jan. 2

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will observe a State-authorized holiday release beginning at noon, Thursday, Dec. 22 – Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012.  Offices reopen on Monday, Jan. 2 with office hours from 8 a.m.  -  5 p.m. daily.

The Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will be on Intersession Schedule Jan. 2- 15  with the Library open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Monday-Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday.

University offices will also close  Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of the authorized State holiday, Martin Luther King Day.

Registration for the Spring Semester 2012 is underway online, 24/7 at tamiu.edu.  Classes for the Spring Semester begin Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 8 a.m. 

The Killam Library will begin its regular schedule on Jan. 17: Mondays - Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 12 midnight; Fridays, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 12 noon to midnight.

Late Registration for the Spring semester, with late fees applied, continues through Monday, Jan. 23.

In the event of an emergency over the holidays, contact TAMIU Police at 326.2100.
