Students who haven’t yet made resolutions or perhaps did make them and broke them will get a second chance to make resolutions with Texas A&M International University Resolutions Week.

“Resolutions Week is a week of activities intended to assist students in fulfilling their resolutions for the new year,” explained Miguel Treviño, associate director, Office of Student Affairs.

Recreational Sports, Student Health Services, Office of Career Services, Writing Center, University Learning Center, Student Counseling Services and Student Affairs collaborated to bring Resolutions Week to students.

“Individuals will only need to have an idea of what they would like to commit to this new year, so representatives can help guide students on how to achieve their goals,” Treviño added.

TAMIU students will have the opportunity to find out how to meet their new goals during the following resolutions schedule:

See the World, Study Abroad—See a picture slide show, sign a resolution poster, schedule an information session, find out about scholarships and pick up program application Tuesday, Jan. 17, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Student Center (SC) rotunda.

Get Fit, Stay Healthy—Find out more about services available from Student Counseling Services and Student Health Services; learn about the massage room and nutrition classes and eat healthy food samples. Also, don’t miss the demonstration classes Wednesday, Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., SC rotunda.

Create a Plan, Get Involved—Learn how to become involved in the University. Peruse information tables from University Learning Center, Career Services, Writing Center and student clubs and organizations Thursday, Jan. 19 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., SC rotunda.
