Dustdevil Fusion Presents CheerDanz

Dustdevil Fusion, a Texas A&M International University cheerleading and dance student organization, will present its First Annual CheerDanz ShowOff Sunday, Feb. 26 from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Kinesiology/Convocation Building (gym).

Cheerleading and dance groups from local elementary, middle and high schools will showcase their best skills through a mini cheer and dance routine.

“This event provides the opportunity for Laredoans to appreciate the cheer and dance talent that our University has to offer at the collegiate level,” said Josie Mar, Dustdevil Fusion vice president, “In addition, this showoff will help Dustdevil Fusion accomplish its goal of competing nationally in a cheer and dance competition representing TAMIU for the first time in history.”

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children at the door. Pre-sale tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children.

Funds from the tickets sales will be used to support the Dustdevil Fusion’s trip expenses to cheerleading and dance competitions in South Padre Island and Daytona Beach, Florida in March, Mar said.
