Student Winners in TAMIU Academic Conference Named
The student winners in Texas A&M International University’s Fourth Annual Lamar Bruni Vergara and Guillermo Benavides Z. Academic Conference have been named.
The 2012 Conference was held April 19-20. It provides TAMIU students with an opportunity to present academic research or full-fledged original scholarship, art and performances to the TAMIU community. It offers recognition of the excellent research and scholarship of TAMIU undergraduate and graduate students, and awards cash prizes for best presentations in various disciplines. TAMIU faculty judge the annual event.
Receiving the Grand Prize in the Graduate Studies Division was Carlos R. Dostal for his presentation “Neuronal IEG Expression during Transitions between Parental Care Roles.”
